This ham knife is a special kind of long knife used to cut slices of ham. The knife’s main characteristics include a very sharp point and a long blade, a relatively narrow width and enough flexibility so that it can make fine and accurate slices while adapting the blade’s movement to the shape of the ham.
In order to eat the ham without it losing its organoleptic properties, it needs to be cut by hand with the use of this type of knife. The knife is made of stainless steel and measures 36.5 cm (14.37 in).
To keep the knife in perfect condition, it should be sharpened every time before use. To do so, always use the sharpening steel that comes with the set. Our honing (or sharpening) steel is a special rod that realigns the edge of the blade.
